Conceptual design
Design: Meet "BOORANG," a blend of natural elements and cultural heritage. Inspired by the versatility of bamboo and the iconic Australian boomerang, this unique chair combines sustainable materials with an innovative touch. Carefully crafted, "BOORANG" consists of two integrated pieces that seamlessly merge into a harmonious design.
Starting from one point and ending on the opposite side, the seating and backrest create an elegant and functional shape. Embracing environmental consciousness, "BOORANG" addresses pollution concerns. Bamboo, known for its sustainability, takes center stage, while non-bamboo sections skillfully repurpose hard-to-breakdown materials like plastic and nylon.
Comfort was paramount in the design process. The seamless, joint-free structure offers a smooth and inviting seating experience. Supported by three sturdy bases, "BOORANG" securely sits on any surface without the need for toxic adhesives.
Express yourself with a range of colors and finishes. The coating tones and sleek white gloss texture adorn the non-bamboo components, adding an extra layer of aesthetic appeal. "BOORANG" adapts well to public spaces, effortlessly blending into natural surroundings.
